Step 1: New Under 18-Coaches who have not coached with NYSA previously.

Send an email to NYSA Secretary & Risk Manager Mike Van Nostrand with the following information.

The NYSA Secretary/Risk Manager will use this information to create a coaching profile in Sports Connect

• {Under-18 Coach} a preferred username:
• {Under-18 Coach} email address:
• One Parent/Guardian Name:
• One Parent/Guardian Phone Number:
• One Parent/Guardian email address:

NYSA Secretrary/Risk Manager will reply with the created account details (email, username and password).

Step 2: New & Returning Under-18 Coaches

{Parent} will need to help {Under-18 Coach} complete the steps below.

Register as a coach with NYSA

(Step 2 in the Reference Material 2 on page 5)

• Click on the Mass Youth Soccer Adult Registration portal.
• Click on the Register Now button.
• Use the Forgot Password option to reset your password
• Click on “Login with Username” and add username and password.
  Click “Login.”
• You will see the registration season and registration type “ADULT/CORI Registration - Click on the green “Continue>>” button.
• Review the information and update if necessary, then click on the green “Continue>>” button again.
• Click on the “Register as Coach/Admin” button.
• Select Program as “Adult/CORI Registration.”
• Upload a clear head shot photo of the registrant.
• Fill in all the information.
• Click on “Save & Next Page.”
• Agree to all electronic legal agreements and waivers.
• Click “Agree & Continue>>.”
• Click on “No Payment Due, Continue >>.” If you are under 18, you are done with this step

Complete  US SOCCER LEARNING CENTER CONCUSSION TRAINING

• Look at your 'dashboard' in your profile once registered, it should show this training. Use the same email as when you registered.

Step 3: Final Steps & Next Actions

Once all tasks are completed, Mike Van Nostrand will download your credentials and send them to you for printing. Lanyards and plastic sleeves will be available at the upcoming Coaches meeting.
